Golf first, and by a distance. Foursomes come for Whistling Straits, which has hosted a Ryder Cup, and for Blackwolf Run, and a good number of them play Erin Hills on the same trip. After that it is Road America race weekends, guests coming for The American Club itself, weddings at the resorts, and private jets into Sheboygan County Memorial.
The American Club holds a AAA Five Diamond rating and Forbes Five-Star. That matters to us in a practical way rather than a flattering one: a guest arriving from a resort at that level notices the vehicle, and notices the chauffeur.

Whistling Straits is about 20 minutes past the resort on local roads, but on the long drives the difference shrinks to 5 or 10 minutes. Its own page carries its own figures.
These are the figures we quote on. Traffic is the one thing no operator controls, and an honest number that is a few minutes long is worth more to you than an optimistic one.
Where you do not need us
The American Club runs a reliable shuttle once you are on the property, so you do not need us to get from the hotel to the course. We are not going to pretend otherwise in order to sell you a ride you can get for nothing by asking at the desk.
What we are worth booking for is everything the resort shuttle does not reach: the trip up and the trip home, an airport at either end, a dinner off the property, a race weekend at Elkhart Lake, or a second course that is not one of theirs.

A wedding at a private mansion associated with the Kohler resorts, with guests staying at The American Club. The bride would not put her guests on a school bus, a motor coach, or a party bus.
A five minute route, run as a continuous loop, loading one or two couples at a time. By the time the sixth vehicle pulled away the first was already back at the start.
It is the largest single event this company has run by vehicle count, and it happened here rather than in Milwaukee. Weddings at the resorts are a regular part of this page’s work, usually at a rather smaller scale.
Arriving by private jet
Sheboygan County Memorial is 10 minutes from the resort, which makes it the most convenient arrival in the state for anyone coming here. We coordinate with the FBO on the arrival so the vehicle is waiting rather than being called for, and we have run multi-vehicle arrivals for corporate groups where the schedule was somebody else’s to keep.

The resort at the holidays is its own reason people come, and it is the one time of year the weather is most likely to make driving yourself a bad idea.

Four golfers with travel bags is a different packing problem to four passengers with suitcases, so say which you are when you book. With two passengers the third row folds down, which roughly doubles what fits. The three service levels are compared on the fleet page.

Probably not. The American Club runs a reliable shuttle once you are on the property, so you do not need us to get from the hotel to the course. We are worth booking for the parts the resort does not cover: getting there and home again, a dinner off the property, a day at Road America, or a second course that is not one of theirs.
How long is the drive from Milwaukee to Kohler?
About 70 minutes from Mitchell to The American Club, and about 75 to Whistling Straits. Those are the numbers we quote on, rounded up rather than down, because a golfer who misses a tee time does not care that the average is lower.
Can you meet a private jet at Sheboygan County Memorial?
Yes, and it is 10 minutes from the ramp to The American Club. We work with the FBO on the arrival, and the vehicle is there when the door opens rather than after a phone call.
Can you take us to Erin Hills as well?
Often asked, because a lot of golfers come for both. It is about 75 minutes from The American Club. That trip has a page of its own, linked above, because the detail that matters there is different.
Do you serve Sheboygan and Elkhart Lake too?
Yes. Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Elkhart Lake and the surrounding towns are the same service area and the same flat, all-inclusive quote. Road America weekends are a regular part of the calendar.
Is a Packers game day more expensive from Kohler?
No. It is the same package price from here as it is from Milwaukee, even though Kohler is roughly half the way to Lambeau. The game day booking is priced as a package rather than by distance.
How much does it cost?
The quote is the number you pay. All fares, fees, taxes, tolls and chauffeur gratuity are in it, and each line is shown rather than buried. As directed by the hour runs $110 to $150 depending on the service level, all-inclusive, and point to point is priced on distance and time. Point to point has no minimum. Airport transfers and hotel shuttles are often under an hour, and consecutive trips can be booked back to back. Hourly, as directed carries a minimum of three hours on weekdays and four at weekends.
