Almost nobody who comes to Lake Geneva lives here. It is a resort town of about 8,000 people that fills every weekend from two cities, which means the transportation question is always the same one: how do you get a group here from an airport, and how do you get them between the resorts once they arrive without somebody having to stay sober.
Why people book here. Resort weekends, weddings and golf, drawn from Chicago as much as from Milwaukee, which is why O'Hare comes up here far more than the drive alone would suggest.

The airport question is different here
Mitchell is the closer airport, about 50 minutes away, and O'Hare is about 90. What makes Lake Geneva different is who is arriving. A good share of the people staying here live in Chicago or fly into O'Hare on a route Mitchell does not have, so the longer airport is often the right one, and we quote both when a booking comes in without one named. Rockford is within reach too, for the routes it serves.
Once you are here, the resorts are spread around the lake rather than gathered in the town. Grand Geneva and Geneva National sit outside it on opposite sides, The Abbey is across at Fontana and Lake Lawn is out at Delavan. A dinner reservation at one while staying at another is a real drive, and it is most of what an hourly booking gets used for here.
Alpine Valley Music Theatre is 20 minutes away at East Troy, and the resort weekends and the concert nights are frequently the same booking. That venue has a page of its own because its roads close before the show ends, which changes how it has to be booked.
Questions about Lake Geneva
Should we fly into Milwaukee or Chicago for Lake Geneva?
Whichever has the better flight. Mitchell is about 50 minutes away and O'Hare about 90, so Mitchell wins on the drive, but a nonstop into Chicago is often worth the extra 40 minutes. Rockford is about 70 minutes if it serves your route.
Can you move a group between the resorts during a weekend?
Yes, and it is the most common Lake Geneva booking after the airport run. The resorts are spread around the lake rather than clustered, so dinner at one while staying at another is a genuine drive. An hourly, as directed reservation is the structure that fits it.
Do you serve Williams Bay, Fontana, Delavan and Elkhorn?
Yes. The whole of Walworth County is one service area on one flat, all-inclusive quote, agreed before you book.
Can you take us to a concert at Alpine Valley?
Yes, and it has to be booked hourly rather than point to point. The roads around that venue turn one way out hours before the show ends, so a car that leaves cannot come back for you. The Alpine Valley page explains it properly.
