The word outlasted the vehicle. What it means here now is a chauffeur, a black SUV and a price agreed before you get in.
People still call and ask for a limo. They are almost never asking for a stretch. They are asking for someone to drive, for a vehicle that is clean and quiet, and for the number they were quoted to be the number on the invoice. A Suburban, a Yukon XL or an Escalade ESV does that job.
Owner operated, in Milwaukee since 2017. Milwaukee still issues the permit as a limo permit, which is a large part of why the word has not gone away.
If you actually want a stretch
We do not run stretch limousines, party buses, motor coaches or sedans. A few operators in the area still run stretch vehicles. If the occasion genuinely calls for one, book one of them. We would rather say that in a sentence than spend a page explaining why you do not want the thing you came here for.
What we run instead is the vehicle most of this work is done in now. It carries the same number of people a stretch carries in practice, it fits in a hotel porte-cochere, and it does not announce itself to the whole street.
The vehicle
A late-model Cadillac Escalade ESV, the long-wheelbase version, or a Suburban or Yukon XL depending on the service level booked. We only operate SUVs. No stretch limousines, no party buses, no motor coaches, no sedans. Partner operators cover those where a booking needs them.

What it costs
The quote is the number you pay. All fares, fees, taxes, tolls and chauffeur gratuity are in it, and each line is shown rather than buried. All-inclusive is the industry term for it and it is meant literally: no fuel surcharge, no credit card processing fee, no fees added after the reservation.

Point to point has no minimum. Airport transfers and hotel shuttles are often under an hour, and consecutive trips can be booked back to back. Hourly, as directed carries a minimum of three hours on weekdays and four at weekends.
More limo bookings here are airport runs than anything else.
That surprises people, but it is what the phone says and it is what the searches say. A limo to the airport is the single most common thing asked for in these words, and it is the same booking as any other airport transfer: flat rate, flight tracked, no charge for a delay the airline caused.

Is a limo the same thing as a black car here?
For almost everyone asking, yes. Same booking, same chauffeur, same vehicle. The word people use depends mostly on when they last booked one, and the city still issues the permit as a limo permit, so the trade has not dropped it either.
Do you have stretch limousines?
No. We do not run stretch limousines, party buses, motor coaches or sedans. A few operators in the area still run stretch vehicles. If a stretch is specifically what the occasion needs, book one of them rather than us. If what you want is a chauffeur, a clean vehicle and a fixed price, that is what this is.
What is the best limo service in Milwaukee?
Nobody can answer that about themselves and be worth believing. What you can check on any operator, including this one: whether the rate you are quoted is the rate you are charged, whether the chauffeur is an employee who has driven the route before, whether the vehicle is insured and permitted for livery, and whether the reviews are on a platform that shows all of them. Ask those four and the shortlist gets short quickly.
How many people fit?
Up to 6 in the Escalade ESV and up to 7 in the Chevrolet Suburban, in both cases with one passenger in the front seat. Behind the chauffeur it is 5 and 6. The rear figure is what each tier is sold on: the bench seats six and the captain's chairs seat five, which is the trade that buys third-row legroom. The front passenger seat is there on top of that when a group would rather stay in one vehicle than split across two.
What is black car service?

Do you do black truck service?
Yes, and it is the same service under a different word. Everything we operate is a full-size SUV, a Suburban, a Yukon XL or a Cadillac Escalade ESV, which plenty of people call a truck and plenty of others call a black car. We answer to both. If you searched for black truck service you have found the right place, and the vehicle you are picturing is the one that turns up.
Are you licensed to do this?
Our vehicles carry a City of Milwaukee limousine permit, issued per vehicle by the City Clerk, and we hold a separate permit for passenger pick-up and drop-off at Milwaukee Mitchell International. Each vehicle is also registered with the City of Chicago, which is what allows pick-up at O’Hare and Midway rather than drop-off only.
Can we drink in the vehicle?
We cannot provide alcohol, but passengers 21 and over may bring their own and drink it in a chauffeur-driven vehicle in Wisconsin. Our public passenger license is a limo permit, which is what allows it. The chauffeur can end a trip without a refund if it stops being reasonable, which has more or less never come up.
