Why it is hourly, and only hourly
The roads around the venue are turned to one way out, hours before the concert ends. A car cannot come back in to pick anyone up. Point to point with a return leg is not deliverable here, whatever anyone else advertises.
Hourly reservations only at this venue. Not a preference and not an upsell: it is the only structure that works once the roads close. Any operator selling you a return leg here has either not run it or is planning to keep you waiting. We hold a limo parking pass. It puts the vehicle at the top of the hill, just outside the venue's VIP parking. The chauffeur stays put, in the spot where the drop off happened, for the whole show. Guests walk back to the same place they got out.

We do not take one way reservations for a drop off at the venue only, or a pick up after the show only. It is the road closure again rather than a policy preference. A vehicle that drops and leaves cannot get back in, and one that arrives only for the pick up has to be inside the cordon hours before the show ends anyway.
What it costs, and why there is no number here

Plenty of people use a rideshare app for this and some of them are fine. The reasons it often goes wrong are specific to this venue rather than general complaints, and they are all downstream of the same road closure:
- The roads in are one way out well before the show ends, so a driver who leaves cannot come back for you.
- Far fewer drivers make the trip in than the crowd needs, and the ones who do are stuck in the same exit only traffic.
- Surge pricing arrives exactly when demand peaks, which is the moment the show ends.
- Drivers who cannot reach the venue wait on roads outside it, so the pick-up can mean a walk of a mile or two along unlit county highways.
- A driver who cannot find you in a few minutes may cancel, and you start again.
None of that is an argument that we are cheaper, because we are not. It is an argument that a vehicle already parked at the top of the hill with your name on it is a different product from one you are hoping to summon at 11 PM.
